Once a topic with taboo status, mental health has slowly emerged as a priority area for population health. Although mental health data isn’t as robust as many other health-related sets we offer, we do, however, offer a few that provide great insight into the perception of mental health at the individual level and accessibility to mental health services at a community level.
The mapped data below was taken from Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System self-reported survey. The following question was asked to individual participants.
“Now thinking about your mental health, which includes stress, depression, and problems with emotions, for how many days during the past 30 days was your mental health not good?”
